How efficient are you when it comes to creating pages on your website?

Do you often get frustrated and sometimes consider using a web designer to do this?

Before making that decision, have you considered the fact that you may likely not be looking in the right direction?

Ever heard of Thrive Architect?

If no, you are in luck as I will be taking you through a series of procedures for creating impressive pages without having to break the bank.

Thrive Architect At A Glance

ThriveArchitect, the fastest and spontaneous WordPress plugin visual editor from Thrive Themes, is a builder plugin that helps you create quality, transition-centered pages. On a side note, if looking to painlessly build your pages, consider using a WYSIWYG editor.

It helps utilize time, as it allows you to build your pages using the drag-and-drop editor thereby ensuring you don’t spend hours with shortcodes and HTML.

Thrive Architect can be used to create a homepage, sales, product launch, webinar pages, build landing pages, as well as format blog posts.

How to Build your page using Thrive Architect

To achieve this, you can either use Landing Page Template, or a Blank Template.

Landing Page Templates

This template is pre-designed and doesn’t need you to design from the scratch, meaning you can publish them immediately. All you need to do is to click on the cloud icon to display a template window, and then edit the already designed copy as it suits your business.

ThriveArchitect currently has about 40 landing page template sets that use the same design components. As earlier stated, you can customize your Landing Page Template using the WYSIWYG visual editor.

On each page, there are elements like Heading, Button, Text, etc. which upon selection, displays their individual editing options on the sidebar menu. Thrive Architect makes it easier to keep tabs on the element being edited as it labels the element in strategic places on your screen.

For example, clicking the Heading element allows you to change a text, modify its position and layout, and add a border, amongst others.

All changes made are visible on your editing screen and you may switch to the default mode.

You can also save your edition of the template to use again.

Blank Page Template

In certain cases, it is ideal you build your page from scratch using a clean canvas, especially if using a design seen on another website.

There are three flexible design elements you can use to build your page and these are;

Content Box

This is a dual-purpose design element that serves both as a content container for holding multiple elements to be treated alike, and as a highlighter of important parts of content.

Using the drag-and-drop handle, you can move the Content Box which contains an icon and a piece of text onto the background section.

As a part of its Rapid Implementation ideology, Thrive Architect allows you to save your Content box as a Content Template for future use.

Full-width background

This feature is not readily available on all page builders. Irrespective of the WordPress theme being used, you can achieve a full-width background using the “Content covers entire screen width” setting.

You can also use an image as a base layer used to create this background. You can also add different layers to create the effect you want. You can equally use other layer options like a pattern, gradient color, and video background.

You can also use a full-width background section and two columns to create a vertical split-screen effect. This enables you to add different content elements like image and text, video camera, and video screenshot, amongst others.

Testimonial

In Thrive Architect, there are over 30 testimonial templates you can modify. The addition of testimonials on your page has been proven to help demonstrate social proof.

For a template like Chic Light which uses two columns for the image and text, you can drag-and-drop the column widths to fit either of them.

Whilst the column on the left-hand contains three images or icons you can edit; the right-hand column contains two text or paragraph elements.

With the Testimonial template, you can change images, column widths, colors, amongst others.

Lead generation options

The main objective of most landing pages is to generate leads.

In Thrive Architect, you can either use 1-step opt-in or 2-step opt-in lead generation on your landing page.

1-step opt-in is the default Lead Generation method and is already available if using a Landing Page Template. If otherwise, it can be used to create your own landing page by dragging and dropping the lead generation element onto your page from the sidebar. You can also customize other features like colors and text.

On the other hand, 2-step opt-in uses a built-in Thrive architect feature called the Thrive Lightbox, which can be customized with a visual editor. Here, you use the Animation & Action option to raise a Lightbox and create a trigger after deciding the element to be the activator.

Using either the 1-Step or 2-Step opt-in method. Thrive Architect allows you to connect to your email service either through an HTML or API Code and has connections to email providers like Google, Hubspot, Postmark, etc.

With the number of people using mobile devices, it is ideal your page is mobile responsive.

Every page built with Thrive Architect is mobile receptive and has additional qualities that help you build unique pages. These qualities are;

Besides the main page building design elements earlier stated, there are other conversion-focused elements like countdown timers, credit card icons, Call to Action buttons, styled lists, amongst others.
